PURPOSE OF SERVICE
Design of electrical and mechanical plant systems, work supervision, testing and commissioning as part of the construction of the brand new Soderini residence building in Milan, Italy.
HIGHLIGHTS
The eight-above-ground-floor tower building accommodates 25 residential flats of various types, as well as garages, cellars and lifts.
The systems were designed for centralised production of hot and cold fluids, with good enough flat-inherent building/installation system energy performances for achieving energy class A, according to Art. 28 of L. 10/91 and compliant with All.B of D.G.R. 8/8745 of the Lombardy Region of Italy.
Therefore, all air-conditioning, air renewal and domestic hot water systems were designed to be powered by electricity, using air and the sun as a renewable energy source, thus excluding the use of fossil fuels such as methane gas or LPG.
All the building mechanical systems are controlled and monitored by a centralised automatic control system, while the air-conditioning terminals in the rooms are managed by individual in-flat home automation systems with dedicated metering, which can also be remotely controlled. All flats are equipped with a Level 3 domotic electrical system.
