PURPOSE OF SERVICE
One of the first feasibility studies, particularly significant for its extension and completeness, developed by NCA Engineering, concerns the Italian headquarters of LUCENT TECHNOLOGIES (New Rome Headquarters).
In 1999 Nca Engineering, in collaboration with the architects of DEGW, was commissioned by the project manager of Lucent Technologies to develop a Brief of the requirements for the new headquarters in Rome together with a schematic feasibility project. The Client was located in various buildings in Rome and intended to consolidate 310 people in 5000 m2 of net surface area in a new building (7 floors + basement) in Via Cesare Giulio Viola (Rome Fiumicino). The selected building was 16 years old and the preliminary date for project completion and move was set as July 31, 2000.
In particular, the main objectives were:
- help an international client use its new office facilities in the most effective and efficient way, even over time.
- design a stimulating and effective work environment capable of promoting organizational and business development, responding to the challenges of the project through multi-teamwork.
- offer strong project leadership and coordination capabilities.
The study allowed the subsequent development of the project, which was successful with compliance with the customer's requirements, settlement times and maintenance of efficiency over time.
