Highlights

NCA Engineering can boast an almost twenty-year collaboration with Zàini SpA, a historic Italian company which, since 1913, has been producing excellence in the confectionery sector.

Over the years, the production criteria and therefore production lines and technological service systems have evolved, transforming themselves into sophisticated, fully air-conditioned, and controlled environments, with robotic, automated and autonomously managed production lines, equipped with advanced quality control systems.

Since 2007 Nca Engineering has collaborated in the general revamping of the two historic Zàini factories, dealing with the design and supervision of the works, both in the power plants and in the production departments, as well as participating in the design and supervision of the construction of a third Zàini factory, including the renewal of office systems.

The factories require high-performance and high-precision systems so that production takes place at the right temperature and controlled humidity for all the thousands of m2 of production environments (20°C. with relative humidity of 45% in midsummer), conditions that require significant power commitments and technologically advanced systems.

The technological transformation occurred through successive interventions, without any demolition and/or consumption of land, but operating in a continuous transformation and improvement according to the Japanese KAIZEN philosophy and methodology.
